A sunny day in Sydney for 9 year-old Jude's First Communion at St Canice's. Grand Aunt Anne and Trev were down from Brisbane to join Bill, Mindy and Jude to make it a family affair.
The Mass was offered by Fr Paul for better health for my elder brother Tony (Jude's grandfather) in Brisbane as he continues his amazing battle and beating the ravages of cancer thus far.
After the Mass we walked down to Rushcutter's Bay for a 'Communion Breakfast' at lunch time at Italian Restaurant Marta. I had the best Roast Porchetta, pork belly with crispy skin, herbs and lemon . . . .mmm. Others enjoyed the lasagna with veal meatballs.
